Dr. Cindy Kim, MD, is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care across hospital and outpatient settings. She earned her medical degree from the University of Leeds Medical School and completed her Internal Medicine training at UC San Diego and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Kim focuses on ensuring seamless transitions from hospital to home, emphasizing post-discharge risk mitigation, reduction of avoidable emergency room utilization, and continuity of care. Her clinical expertise includes advanced multimorbidity management and thoughtful polypharmacy oversight, with a strong commitment to medication safety. She works closely with subspecialists to coordinate complex care plans, reduce fragmentation, and improve clinical outcomes for patients with chronic and high-risk conditions. Dr. Kim is passionate about enhancing the patient experience through clear communication, proactive follow-up, and integrated care strategies. She is an active member of the American Medical Association and serves as a Medication Safety Physician at Providence Medical Center Torrance.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Kim enjoys traveling, cooking, hosting dinners, exploring new restaurants, practicing pilates and yoga, and hiking local trails with her husband and their whippet dog, Nico.
