About David B. Fittingoff, MD

Board certified endocrinologist David Fittingoff, M.D., was influenced by his father, also an endocrinologist, to pursue a career in medicine. Plus, the challenge of the specialty intrigued him. With few cures for endocrine problems, such as diabetes and thyroid conditions, helping patients control symptoms and their overall health takes a thorough understanding of the patient and the disease itself. Dr. Fittingoff received his medical degree from Hahnemann University and went on to complete an internship at LAC/USC Medical Center, a residency at Wadsworth VA Medical Center and Sepulveda VA Medical Center, all in Los Angeles, Calif., and a fellowship in endocrinology at the Sepulveda VA. He is an assistant clinical professor of medicine at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center’s division of endocrinology. Dr. Fittingoff enjoys traveling, cooking skiing and playing tennis.
