Dr. Azadi grew up in Australia and moved to Maryland to complete her undergraduate studies in biomedical engineering. After medical school, she moved to Los Angeles and was named Resident of the Year at USC during her internship. She was later appointed chief fellow after completing a cardiology fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and continued on to complete her subspecialty fellowship in interventional cardiology.
Dr. Azadi has published scientific papers, abstracts and educational exhibits as leading author at the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) and has additional expertise and board certification in specialized cardiac imaging such as echocardiography and nuclear medicine. Her professional interests include community awareness of cardiovascular disease in women, endovascular therapies for peripheral artery disease, transradial cardiac catheterization, structural heart disease and chronic venous disease.
