About Nicole Yuko Wakimoto, MD

Dr. Wakimoto was born in Torrance and raised in La Palma, CA. She earned her bachelor’s degree at UCLA and medical degree at AUC School of Medicine, studying in the Caribbean, UK, and East Coast. She completed her residency at SIU Carbondale, and merited honors of Chief Resident and the Dr. Hartman Award for distinguished service in Women’s Health. She is pleased to return home and serve her community.

Dr. Wakimoto is passionate about providing comprehensive medical care to all members of your family, from newborns to elderly. She values shared- decision making and treating the whole person. She looks forward to developing long-lasting relationships with you and your loved ones. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, crafting, trying new foods, golfing, dancing, wakeboarding, jet-skiing, snowboarding, and traveling- especially to Japan.
