Shazia Hasan, M.D. is board-certified in Cardiology and has over 20 years of experience in the medical field. She is also board-certified in Internal Medicine, her sub-specialty.
“I understand the importance of cardiovascular health, and my emphasis is on prevention, early detection, and comprehensive treatment in the management of cardiovascular conditions. I believe in a comprehensive approach to the management of congestive heart failure as well as hypertension, valvular heart disease, and atherosclerotic heart disease,” she says.
Dr. Hasan treats many cardiovascular conditions, including heart disease, hypertension, vascular disease, arrhythmias, and congestive heart failure. “My clinical interests include women’s health and preventive medicine.”
Dr. Hasan adds, “I enjoy partnering with my patients to develop appropriate treatment plans for their conditions and illnesses. I strive to establish long-lasting relationships with my patients to help them improve and manage their health.”
Dr. Hasan majored in biological sciences at the University of California, Irvine, and earned her medical degree at the USC Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles. She completed her internship, residency, and fellowship in cardiology at the University of California, Irvine.
Having grown up in California, Dr. Hasan enjoys hiking the local trails, spending time with her family, and traveling.
