John Armato, MD, is passionate about applying medical research to clinical practice. He feels that findings from academic literature are a tool to help identify risk factors and assist with disease prevention. Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Armato’s research interests include pre-diabetes detection and treatment before onset of disease. He has co-authored articles on diabetes and will continue to publish work in this area. Dr. Armato has more than 30 years of clinical experience. When dealing with his patients, his zeal for medicine and people shines through as he strives to help his patients maintain an optimal state of health. From 2010 to 2013, Dr. Armato received Compassionate Doctor Recognition. In his personal time, he enjoys cooking with his wife, listening to music and spending quality time with his family.
