Emily is a California born and raised, CSULB graduate with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. She practiced as a clinical dietitian for 5 years prior to PA school and worked in a variety of settings. She switched to PA school because of her love for medicine and her desire to provide more comprehensive care to her patients.

His hobbies include cycling, hiking and traveling.
