Dr. Froutan was born in the Rockies, but has lived all over the country and in the Caribbean. Raised in a southern Persian home, he was instilled with the concepts of respect, courtesy and hospitality from a young age. These basic concepts have formed the basis of his medical practice. Although now practicing only in Southern California, Dr. Froutan previously practiced medicine in Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Dr. Froutan has a special interest in teaching, and regularly gives presentations and lectures to students at his former medical school. He also likes to teach patients about their ailments and treatments in a way that they can understand. This teaching helps him create a partnership between himself and his patients so that they can ask the right questions and make informed decisions about their care.
