About Cale Franklin, MD

Cale Franklin, M.D., is board-certified specializing in Pediatrics and is a member of the Medical Board of Physicians and Surgeons (NBPAS). He also has a subspecialty in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.

Dr. Franklin emphasizes the importance of team-based patient care. “I believe the patient and family should be an integral part of the diagnosis and management of any illness. We must work together to achieve and maintain the best care a patient can receive to ensure the best quality of life possible. No matter the diagnosis, each patient and their family are unique, and we will treat them as such,” he says. “I also believe vaccines are an integral and crucial part of healthcare.”

Born in Torrance, California. Dr. Franklin completed his undergraduate studies at the California State University of Long Beach, majoring in Biology-Physiology with a minor in Chemistry. He earned his Medical Degree at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine and completed a Pediatrics Residency at the University of Irvine-Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Dr. Franklin has a particular interest in asthma, allergies, and sports medicine. Dr. Franklin loves watching and participating in sports. He coached youth basketball with a former assistant NBA coach. Before medicine, he was a teacher and tutor. He enjoys photography, hiking, weightlifting, music, spending time with his friends and family when not practicing medicine.
