Born in Santa Monica and raised in West Los Angeles, Dr. Ishimaru is a first generation physician. A family of teachers helped shape her keen interest in educating her patients so they are an informed part of their own healthcare team.

Dr. Ishimaru attended Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science in North Chicago, Ill., and completed both her Internship and Residency at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Respect for each individual’s personal and cultural values is pivotal to the care she provides. She welcomes patients of all ages and provides comprehensive care for women’s health.
