Hannah Kim, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician at Providence Pediatrics in Redondo Beach and fluently speaks both English and Korean.
When asked why she became a pediatrician, she replied, “I am passionate about building relationships with families and working together to provide the best care for their children. As a prior middle school teacher, I believe in the power of education and aim for families to walk away from each appointment feeling more empowered.” She went on to add, “I chose Providence given we live here locally and I was looking for a place to work long-term, grow my family, and establish deep, long-term relationships with my patients and their families. I really enjoy our Pediatrics Department here at Providence and truly enjoy working with my colleagues at Redondo Beach”
Dr. Kim earned her medical degree from the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, focusing on underserved urban communities through the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. She completed her internship and residency at UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.
Dr. Kim resides in the South Bay and enjoys exploring the trails and beaches with her family.
