Dr. Froutan was born in the Rockies, but has lived all over the country as well as in the Caribbean. Raised in a Persian household in the South, he was instilled with the concepts of respect, politeness, and hospitality from an early age. These core concepts have formed the basis of how he practices medicine. Although now only practicing in Southern California, Dr. Froutan previously practiced medicine in Georgia, Mississippi, and Tennessee.

Dr. Froutan has a particular interest in teaching, routinely giving presentations and lectures to students at his former medical school. He also enjoys teaching patients about their medical conditions and treatments in a way that they can understand. This teaching helps to create a partnership between himself and his patients, so that they can ask the right questions and make informed decisions about their care.
