Tristy Shaw, M.D, is a board-certified pediatrician who was born and raised in the South Bay. She has served families in Redondo Beach since 2003. Dr. Shaw has always aimed to provide personalized, high-quality medical care with a focus on education.
Dr. Shaw has volunteered her services in Mongolia, Mexico and Costa Rica with various international medical relief agencies. She volunteered for six months in Sri Lanka with Doctors Without Borders.
In addition to her training in pediatrics, Dr. Shaw received a master’s degree in education from University of Southern California. She is a strong believer in educating her patients and parents about disease processes, normal behavior and development, nutrition and sleep. She enjoys working together with families to optimize the care their child receives.
Dr. Shaw enjoys many outdoor activities with her husband and two boys. They like to ski and hike in the mountains and play at the beach.
