Important Contract Negotiation Updates for L.A. Care Health Plan Members

Dear Patient,

You may have heard that Providence Medical Associates (PMA) and L.A. Care Health Plan are in active negotiations to renew our contracts.

We wanted to provide an update that a temporary extension has been reached to continue providing care for L.A. Care patients until October 31, 2023. Through this short-term extension, there is no impact in your ability to see your PMA providers and clinics at this time.

We will provide updates if any changes occur and are committed to keeping you informed as more details become available.

We understand these negotiations can be upsetting and are a difficult process for our patients. Please know that during the negotiation period, we are exhausting every possible option to work with L.A. Care.
