Sheila E. Harry, FNP, is a board-certified Family Nurse Partitioner specializing in Family Medicine at the PMI Wateridge Primary and Specialty Care facility in Los Angeles.

Born and raised in Cameroon, West Africa, Harry came to the United States in 1994. “I became a family nurse practitioner so I can help people in their most vulnerable times and to help the community by educating them one family member at a time,” she says. “I believe it is essential for me to treat each patient as if they were a beloved member of my own family.”

Harry is passionate about her work on the Los Angeles Medical Foundation Diversity Council, helping to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion for all within the medical field.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from California State University in Los Angeles (CSULA). She earned her master’s degree in nursing with a specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner from Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science (MSN) in Willowbrook, California, where she graduated with honors.

“When I’m not working, I love spending time with my two amazing teenage children. I am looking forward to traveling with them to Europe and Africa after the pandemic eases up. Otherwise, I enjoy reading, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and going to concerts,” she says.
